About
Be Giant is a non-partisan, non-profit media outlet created to uncover and amplify our country’s most ambitious ideas.
We report on the breakthroughs and innovations that provide solutions to our country’s biggest challenges, as well as those that hold the potential to unlock our nation’s greatest opportunities. With curiosity, optimism and rigorous, fact-based journalism, we report on the thinkers, builders, changemakers and problem-solvers shaping the future of Canada.
Our name reflects the size of Canada’s potential and the vastness of this country, as well as the magnitude of what’s at stake.
Be Giant is rooted in a belief that Canadians need not look elsewhere for opportunity; dreams can be built right here. This is a country where individuals, businesses and organizations can bring their ambitions to life and solve giant problems.
We believe Canada is ready to lead.
