Andrew Phillips

Andrew Phillips is an opinion columnist with the Toronto Star. He has been editor-in-chief of the Montreal Gazette and Victoria Times Colonist. He also served as the Star's editorial page editor and business editor; senior editor and correspondent in London and Washington for Maclean's magazine; writer for The National, CBC News' flagship program; and reporter and editor at the Gazette. He is a graduate of McGill University and taught journalism at Concordia University.
