Chris Turner

Chris Turner is an authoritative voice on climate solutions, with more than 20 years of experience as an author, essayist and strategist tracking the global energy transition. His latest book, How to Be a Climate Optimist, won the 2023 Shaughnessy Cohen Prize for Political Writing, and his feature writing and essays have won 10 National Magazine Awards and have appeared in publications that include The New Yorker, the Globe and Mail and the MIT Technology Review. He lives in Antigonish, N.S., with his wife, the author Ashley Bristowe, and their two children.
