Jennifer Wells has been engrossed in the world of Canadian business from her earliest reporting days as a mining reporter at the Financial Post. Through feature and column writing at the Financial Times, Maclean's magazine, the Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star, Jennifer has investigated the Westray coal mining explosion in Nova Scotia, the export of Canadian asbestos to India, the fantasy tale of the "world's largest gold mine" in Indonesia and the extraction of critical minerals in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. A multiple National Newspaper Award and National Magazine Award nominee, her award-winning work includes investigations into missing and murdered Indigenous women and sweatshop clothing manufacture in Cambodia.
