Katherine Laidlaw

Katherine Laidlaw is a journalist based in Toronto. A five-time National Magazine Award winner, her work has appeared in WIRED, Outside magazine, The Atlantic, The Walrus and elsewhere. She is a contributing editor at Toronto Life and her stories have appeared in the Best American Sportswriting, Best Canadian Sportswriting and Best American Essays anthologies. She began her career reporting in the Canadian Arctic and a documentary based on her work, Lost Boy, is forthcoming in 2027 from CBC and the National Film Board.
